How Able Futures is using Do-IT Profiler to enhance mental health support

At Able Futures, we are constantly striving to enhance the support we provide to people facing mental health challenges. As part of our ongoing commitment to offer tailored, effective assistance, we have integrated the Do-IT Profiler into our Access to Work (Mental Health Support Service). This digital tool helps neurodiverse participants identify their strengths and the potential challenges they may experience in life, offering them, valuable insights that enable them to thrive in the workplace and in their personal lives.

What is Do-IT Profiler?

Do-IT Profiler is a digital  tool developed by Do-IT Solutions. It allows a person to complete a series of scientifically validated questionnaires  that screens for traits related to neurodiverse conditions and mental health and wellbeing. Based on this data, the tool generates personalised reports that helps the person identify areas where they may need additional support.

Do-IT Profiler is widely used across sectors including education, healthcare, and employment, providing people with a clearer understanding of their mental health needs. It offers a straightforward, non-intrusive way to track and manage mental wellbeing, making it particularly valuable for those who may be unsure how to address mental health challenges.

How Able Futures utilises Do-IT Profiler

By using Do-IT Profiler at the beginning of the support journey, we can help provide more tailored support that is inclusive and accessible.

For example, a person can gain a deeper understanding oftheir strengths and the work challenges they might face in their lives. Armed with this information, our Mental Health Coaches can make suitable recommendations address those challenges, whether that’s through setting goals, managing worries or improving work-life balance.

Why Do-IT Profiler is essential

The integration of Do-IT Profiler aligns with Able Futures’ mission to provide accessible, flexible, and inclusive support for all. It ensures employees, apprentices and self-employed people have access to resources that are relevant to their specific needs. In smaller businesses, where mental health support may not always be readily available, Do-IT Profiler offers a clear pathway to understanding and managing mental health proactively.

By empowering participants with a greater understanding of neurodiversity, Able Futures is making it easier for them to navigate challenges and thrive in their personal and professional lives.
